My Favorite Person In The World:
My 13-going-on-19-year-old daughter, Jessica.
She had her Golden Birthday this year on April 13th. She is now almost done with 7th grade and is still doing great. She made the honor roll! And she has all honors classes still and is top of the class in Spanish. She can be funny, witty, smart and sweet one minute and the next minute, snotty, stuck up and angry the next. I once heard it said that if your children act better outside the house than they do inside the house, then they're okay. I also heard that if they say they hate you, you must be doing something right. I tend to agree on both counts. While I do complain and bitch about her attitude and temper tantrums--I wouldn't trade her for the world; even if I say I would. =) Jessica loves Green Day, Carrie Underwood, Bryan Adams, Pink, Taylor Swift, Johnny Cash, Will Smith, Sixx A.M, Motley Crue and has discovered Children of Bodom, Otep and Destrophy on her own. She loves KoRn, Sevendust, Disturbed, Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch and all things metal. She loves reading and going to museums and talking and talking and talking. She loves being outside and walking on trails. She loves exploring new places every chance she gets, even if it's just climbing up a tree. And oddly enough, she loves to go garage-saling and looking in antique shops! In the past few years, she has totally gotten the photography bug and is naturally good at it. Yes, she is definitely mine!
